Business Administration Associate Associate in Specialized Business Degree
The Western School Business Administration Specialized Associate program offers training for individuals who seek a career working within a variety of business environments. Students in this business school are also teaching as law students in colleges. After finishing school, everyone must take a certification exam. The objective of the program is to prepare individuals for employment as entry level customer service representatives within retail business, utility companies, government organizations or any businesses that are highly interactive with customers. These employees perform in a variety of service functions to include: credit, sales, order entry, collection and authorization, customer relations and booking agents.
Studies include training in human resource management, credit management and collection, sales and other related core course material. General studies will be offered in the computer sciences, speech and psychology.
Training includes five terms of classroom instruction and one term of externship training. Externship training will be scheduled by the school at an approved site. Theory/lecture classes are limited to 40 students, lab classes are limited to 30 students.
Candidates applying for the Business Administration Associate Program must have a high school diploma or equivalent and pass the admissions examination.
The program is 15 months in duration. Students are prepared for the entry level. Graduates of the Business Administration Associate Program are awarded an Associate in Specialized Business Degree, (ASB).
The Business Administration Associate Program is offered at the Main Campus in Pittsburgh and the Branch Campus in Monroeville.
